“Classes” meet at regular intervals, usually for one to three hours each week for several weeks. Our class instructors are experienced teachers, skilled in their medium and well-versed in their art and art craft. Most are or have been professional artists.
“Workshops” are concentrated blocks of time, say for one or two day extended sessions. Workshops are generally taught by well-known local artists or others who visit Williamsburg for several days at a time for in-depth instruction.
WCAC’s program of art classes for Children & Youths is still in development. Watch this page for more information!
Buddy Art is an ongoing program of art activities for “kids” ages 6 & up with special needs. It is sponsored by WCAC in partnership with student volunteers from the College of William & Mary and James City County Parks & Recreation.
